Church
Maintenance & Upkeep In looking around the church, we have developed
a long list of things that need some attention.
Many of them are small and we can do them ourselves (see Clean-Up
Article.) However, there are several
jobs that are quite costly and/or need to be completed by a professional. Below is a list of those items:

Church
Clean-Up Many people give something up for
Lent. This year, try taking on
something. As part of your Lenten
discipline come and help clean-up and repair / maintain your church. We will be meeting every other Monday,

Monday, February 8th we will work on the
following: Parish
Hall -
Longer screws in lights, Repair / Replace backs of chairs, Replace bulbs in
wall lights, Replace door stop Old
Narthex
- Replace door stop on interior door Office
stairwell
- Clean and remove signs, etc. Ladies
Bathroom
- Fix light above toilets Choir
Room -
Move filing cabinet, Repair emergency door Sanctuary - Change filters,
Replace bulb in entry Outside - Remove /Replace driveway entrance/exit split
rail fence Monday, February 22nd we will work on the
following: Old
Narthex
- Seal entrance doors Narthex - Clean elevator,
Replace door closures, Add elevator operation signs Ladies
Room -
Fix toilet Sanctuary - Pew 2 center fix
kneeler, Pews 1, 5, 7 center replace center support, Left side replace center
support in Pews 4, 7, 3, 10, Right side replace center support Pews 4 and 7 Outside - Remove old shed floor timber |

March 8th
we will work on the following: Choir
Room -
Hang banners Sanctuary - Relocate cross latch Outside - Gutter at office door, Remove graffiti from
old entrance, Gutter guards, Gutter on modular entrance, Hooks for ladders, 2
outside square floods need glass, New entrance steeple flood fix replace bulb,
Light fixture in Great Hall closest to office entrance and find out why it’s
not on, Change down spout near back door of Rectory, Dusk to dawn adapter for
stained glass window light and modular light Monday, March 22nd we will work on the
following: Outside - Paint old entrance, Repaint 3 exit doors, Clean garage walls and roof, Fill holes under electric meters, Recaulk around kitchen and boiler room windows, Clean out around storm drain at backs of lot, Move and strengthen hand rail at front entrance |
